This beautiful, air conditioned Bavarian-style castle sits on 20 acres with spectacular mountain views, its own ice rink and super fast fiber optic WiFi. The grounds feature a large pond stocked with rainbow trout and two fountains, picturesque paths through the property's woods, two bluestone patios complete with stainless steel grill and furnished dining and lounging areas. There is a custom built fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs that extends out over the pond. A hot tub (accommodates 6-7) sits on the main patio overlooking the pond -- the perfect place to watch the sunset over the Vermont mountains!
The grand room has a wood burning fireplace, grand piano and vaulted ceiling. In addition there is an office, fully stocked wine room, and a bar/games room with foosball, table shuffleboard, 52” Smart TV, wine fridge, etc. The house features 3 working fireplaces, Restoration Hardware furnishings, and a gourmet kitchen with copper fixtures, Viking oven, sub-zero refrigerator, and Keurig machine, traditional coffee maker and espresso maker. There are smart TVs (featuring live TV, Amazon Prime, Hulu, AppleTV, Fubo, DisneyTV, Netflix, all major sports channels, etc) in the living room, family room, bar room and two bedrooms. Bluetooth enabled Bose speakers are in living room, bar room and master bedroom.
Air conditioned throughout with a brand new AC system, the house has 6 bedrooms (including en suite master bedroom), 3 full/2 half bathrooms. The sleeping arrangements are:
-Ground floor bedroom: Queen size bed,
-Master bedroom (second floor) King size bed
-1st guest bedroom (second floor): Twin trundle pulls out to a 2nd Twin
-2nd guest bedroom (second floor) : Twin trundle pulls out to a 2nd twin
-1st power floor bedroom: Twin trundle pulls out to a 2nd Twin
-2nd lower floor bedroom: trundle bunk bed with Queen lower bed , Twin upper bed and another Twin below
Located in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Gregoire Castle is near some of the best skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking and golfing in Vermont! In the summer swim and kayak in Lake Willoughby and Crystal Lake, both only minutes away. Only 20 minutes from Canada, 35 minutes from Jay Peak and 40 minutes from Stowe.
*There are fishing poles and three 2 person kayaks with life vests and paddles at the house for guest use.

* Smoke and Carbon Dioxide detectors are located throughout the house and in every bedroom.
* Newly installed fiber optic line enables high speed WIFI, clear WiFi enabled cell phone calls, and multiple simultaneous Zoom calls throughout the house. Gregoire Castle is the only rental property in Northeast Vermont that provides fiber optic enabled WiFi!
* Bissell air purifiers are in every bedroom and throughout the house in common areas. Also, house is equipped with a UV sanitizing chamber so guests can sanitize/disinfect their keys, cell phones, etc throughout their stay

* ONLY dogs 15lbs or less permitted, only one dog allowed. Dogs must be house trained and trained not to go on furniture. Dogs only allowed with prior permission, please contact property owner to inquire.
***Rental fee includes complimentary treatment with ice melt of the pathway from the front door to the driveway and the pathway to the back patio/hot tub area before guests arrive. In addition, there is a large bucket of ice melt and a shovel by the front door for guests to use. Caretaker will come during stay to treat the pathways at renters’ request. Even with shoveling and ice melt, walkways freeze over VERY QUICKLY during Vermont winters. Renters must ALWAYS be extremely careful and when walking outdoors.
*** November is hunting season in the state of Vermont. Hunting on the castle grounds is NOT permitted. However it is possible hunters‘ activity could be heard in the area. If anyone in your party or your dog is sensitive to noise, it is best not to rent property in Vermont in November.
